We do not play competitively and we are not professional players. We attach great importance to conviviality.

We meet once a week to play volleyball for about 2.5 hours, every Wednesday evening. We are a mixed team from early twenties to late sixties.

No license is required. We have some "ex-players" in our team, but again this is not a requirement. Good responsiveness, good ball control, as well as previous knowledge and experience with volleyball are prerequisites.

Fun of playing volleyball in a multicultural environment (our members have +/- 7 different nations) and an excellent team spirit.

FC US Hostert is a football club that has existed in the municipality of Niederanven since 1946. The club has several youth classes. The youngest are the Bambinis, i.e. children under 7 years old.

A love of sport and especially team sport is a prerequisite, as is motivation and the will to give everything for oneself and one's teammates.

The slogan "FC US Hostert, more than a football club" reflects the guiding principle of our club. We are a club located in a unique environment near the Gréngewald, with a long tradition and a high value placed on youth sports. The love of sport and human relations are at the heart of everything we do.

We are a dance school that mainly offers courses for children aged 3 to 15 years. Our offer includes ballet, jazz and hip-hop lessons. In addition, we offer an adult jazz course.

Don't need any prerequisites, you just have to have the desire and joy in dancing. However, the group spirit must not be missing.

​It is important to us that our little (and tall) members feel comfortable and enjoy what they do. However, we also value good behavior, so that we can have a good understanding in our dance groups. In addition, it is of course important to us to offer our little dancers high-quality courses.

With us, you pay per course and per year. An individual course costs e.g. 270€ per year, with the possibility of being partially reimbursed if you stop during the year (90€ per quarter).

Our club is a climbing club. At the climbing wall in Niederanven and in the climbing hall, adults, teenagers and children can learn how to climb and improve their skills. As part of its training programme, KKN also offers outdoor activities, such as rock climbing (for example in Berdorf) and trips to the Alps for alpine climbing.

Children can join the club from the age of 7.

•  What are the conditions (or physical requirements) to be met?

Children must be at least 7 years old to enrol in a youth climbing course. In addition, participants should be in good health and demonstrate the seriousness and respect required for this sport. While indoor climbing is not necessarily considered a traditional high-risk sport, it still involves a certain level of risk.

For this reason, it is essential to be disciplined, to listen carefully to the instructors and follow their guidance, and to strictly adhere to all safety procedures. When these principles are respected, the risks are kept to a minimum. As a result, even 7-year-old children can safely belay other children while climbing.

KKN is known for its warm and family-friendly atmosphere. We strive to offer our members a wide range of activities and opportunities. In addition, we regularly change the routes on our climbing wall to keep training sessions varied, engaging and challenging.

Like many other clubs in the commune, KKN also brings together people from a wide variety of nationalities and backgrounds. This diversity among our members is one of the club’s greatest strengths and an important added value to our community.

Membership fees at KKN depend on the training option chosen. In general, an adult with the standard membership fee of €130 has access to open climbing sessions as well as one beginner training course.

For the same price, a child is entitled to participate in a youth training course.

Shooting with weapons (on targets). Recreational shooting and competition shooting are practiced and can be done from:
- 11 years ⁽¹⁾ for air guns,
- 16 years ⁽¹⁾ for small arms (shoulder arms only),
- 18 years ⁽²⁾ for all weapons authorised by law.

(1) During their presence at the shooting range, minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or an experiences member of the club.
(2) An internship of 12 month with small-caliber weapons is mandatory before being able to move on to larger calibers.

The safety rules applied in the shooting range facilities is of course compulsory in the practice of shooting sports. A respectful and responsible behaviour is required from all members. When applying for a permit to carry sporting weapons, a medical certificate is required by the relevant authorities.

The members of our club enjoy modern and well-maintained facilities. The social aspect is not neglected and a welcoming clubhouse allows members to meet and exchange experiences or to benefit from the advice of more experienced shooters. Particular importance will always be attached to the respect of safety rules, which has always been and will remain our first priority.

Currently the annual membership fee is 180€ (130€ for students, supporting certificate of studies) and upon admission a single entrance fee of 300€ is charged.
